Douglas R. Scott is president of Life Decisions International (LDI), a Washington, D.C.-based organization that concentrates on exposing and challenging the agenda of Planned Parenthood. He is former associate director of Life Advocacy Alliance, a pro-life lobbying organization. Mr. Scott has also served as vice president for public policy of the Christian Action Council (CAC), executive director of Arizona Right to Life (Phoenix), and executive director of HUMAN LIFE (Seattle), the latter two organizations being affiliates of the National Right to Life Committee (NRLC). While working in Arizona and the state of Washington, Mr. Scott served as an alternate director on the NRLC board. He has also served on the board of directors of American Collegians for Life.

Mr. Scott is the author of several books including Bad Choices: A Look Inside Planned Parenthood, Inside Planned Parenthood, and School-Based Clinics: A Trojan Horse in Our Schools. Bad Choices: A Look Inside Planned Parenthood is an exhaustive look at the Planned Parenthood organization from the birth of its founder to its most recent activities. Every aspect of the organization, from its sexuality education programs to its fund-raising, is examined.

Mr. Scott received international recognition when the project he founded succeeded in ending funding of Planned Parenthood by AT&T. To date, at least 80 major corporations have stopped funding Planned Parenthood. Mr. Scott also received international recognition when his work succeeded in gaining political asylum for a Chinese family threatened with forced abortion. His work on behalf of the family led Presidents Ronald Reagan and George H. W. Bush to grant similar requests for political asylum. Congress also passed a bill urging that such requests be given favorable review by the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS).

Mr. Scott has been interviewed on many television and radio programs (including "The MacNeil/Lehrer News Hour", "Nightline", "This Morning's Business", "CBS This Morning", "The 700 Club", "Family News in Focus", "Early Prime" [CNN], "Sonya Live" [CNN], "Focus on the Family" with Dr. James Dobson, and CBS Radio). He has appeared on several America's Voice programs and has been quoted in several major newspapers and magazines. A frequent speaker and debater throughout North America and Europe, Mr. Scott is also a former teacher of middle school and high school students.

Mr. Scott has two degrees (political science and education) from Western Washington University (Bellingham, Washington). He resides in Fairfax, Virginia.
