Lance was born and raised in a suburb of Philadelphia, PA, and has lived there his entire life. He and his wife, Susan, have six children and five grandchildren.
He has taught for over thirty years in five different high schools of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, primarily theology and history. Lance holds a master's degree in History and another in Theology from St. Charles Borromeo Seminary. He also taught, for a time, at Immaculata College. At present he a full-time theology teacher at Archbishop Carroll High School.
Lance is director of CCD at his parish and has been for many years. Over the years he has done sacramental preparation in several parishes. And was for several years a Pre-Cana instructor for the Family Life Bureau of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. He is also a deaconal candidate.
